This engaging & immersive experience is designed specifically for advanced, proficient or heritage speakers. This is perfect for students who have previous experience in a dual language immersion program, have significant exposure to Spanish at home or are fluent speakers looking for more cultural and social experiences in Spanish. Through games, music, stories, virtual field trips & more, students will take their Spanish to the next level as they improve their ability to listen, speak, read & write in Spanish to learn more about the world around them, as well as understand elements of different Spanish cultures from around the world.

This interactive introductory class for beginning Spanish students will immerse students in a world of comprehensible Spanish that has them using the language for real conversation right from day 1!
Students will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases. We’ll focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will be able to introduce themselves and ask and answer simple questions. Content will include everyday vocabulary, greetings, expressing needs, basic descriptions (people, places, and things), and simple questions.

This fun & interactive class is for Spanish students who have taken an introductory Spanish class in the past and are comfortable with simple words, phrases & interactions. Students will be immersed in a world of comprehensible Spanish that will take them to new heights!
Students will develop the ability to deal with simple tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar topics. This will include communication in routine tasks, expressing preferences, and describing past experiences. Content will include vocabulary related to hobbies, work, and daily activities. Basic grammar structures, including present, past, and simple future tenses.

Students will develop the ability to handle more complex communication in familiar contexts, describe experiences, and express opinions. Students will be able to write connected texts on topics that are familiar or of personal interest, as well as describe experiences, events, and dreams. Content will include more sophisticated grammar (e.g., conditional, past perfect), vocabulary expansion, and discussions on various topics like personal opinions and plans.

What do these levels mean?
All Las Lengüitas language courses are aligned with the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR). CEFR levels range from A1 - C2 and provide globally recognized and universal guidelines for language students and teachers. This means more consistency for you between levels, programs, exams & more.
